Pelagus 4 Life was born out of a simple frustration: the technical diving industry was full of gear that talked about performance but compromised on materials. We wanted a BC system that could handle the cold water, deep wrecks and long cave dives we actually did — and last a lifetime doing it.

So we built it. Every backplate is laser-cut from 316 marine grade stainless steel, in 6mm or 8mm thickness. Every wing is welded from PVC-coated polyester fabric (Rubber Duck) — the same rugged, tear-resistant fabric used on inflatable rescue boats. Typical lifespan: 5–10 years, depending on care. Every D-ring, tri-glide and buckle is premium stainless.

The result is a system that is delivered ready to dive, and that will keep diving with you for the rest of your career. No plastic to crack. No cheap steel to rust. No shortcuts.
